Ground floor approx. 45 m2 and loft approx. 30 m2. Downstairs, a separate bedroom with a double bed, upstairs in the loft, a double bed (thick mattress for a double bed on the floor), and additional mattresses as needed. Accommodation for six, with more mattress space if needed.
Wood-heated sauna, separate shower room (hot water with electric water heater). An indoor toilet and a separate traditional “huussi” outside (in contrast to the pictures, a so-called normal water toilet will be available in the summer of 2021). Washing machine in the toilet.
A well-equipped kitchen with an electric stove and a tabletop dishwasher, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Wi-Fi and television are available.
Heating with fireplace and stove, electric radiators in the downstairs bedroom and kitchen.
Outside, a large terrace and a covered dining area. A brick grill/fireplace and a gas grill, as well as everyone’s favorite, a wood-burning fire pit with good views of the lake in the evening sun. On the beach, there is a fireplace, a swing, and a boat.
The pond is approx. 200×400 meters in size, and on its shore, only our two cabins, and one unused cabin so that you can fish there in peace.
Travel to the center of Uurainen approx. 3 km, there you can find a shop, pharmacy, pizzeria, etc. Larger shops, for example, in Jyväskylä approx. 40 km away.
PLEASE NOTE that the rent does not include bed linen. Linen and towels are 10 euros per person. Ordered from the host well in advance of arrival and paid upon arrival (cash or Mobile Pay).
Pets are allowed upon agreement, with an additional cleaning fee of 50 euros/rental.
A couple of mountain bikes are available for rent; ask for availability well in advance. Also, fishing equipment is available.
We also have another smaller cabin, approx. 70 meters away, so with a larger group, you can book both cabins. There is a thick bush between the cottages, so there is no line of sight, especially from the front yards.
